The first clinching scenario of the season:

Nashville can clinch a playoff spot with a ROW (Regulation/Overtime Win). If they win via SO, Nashville can clinch with either of the following:

1. An Anaheim SOW (Shootout Win) or loss
2. A Dallas loss

Tampa Bay can clinch a playoff spot with a ROW and any of the following:

1. Columbus loss
2. Philadelphia loss
3. New Jersey regulation loss

If TB wins via SO, they can clinch with either of the following:

1. Columbus loss
2. Philadelphia regulation loss

If TB reaches OT, they can clinch with a Columbus regulation loss.

If TB wins via SO, they can clinch with a Philadelphia regulation loss.

Tampa Bay can clinch at least 3rd place in the Atlantic with a win or a Florida regulation loss. If they reach OT, Florida's loss doesn't have to be in regulation.

Nashville can clinch at least 3rd place in the Central with a Colorado loss.
