Elisabeth Hasselbeck to co-host F&F, Gretchen to Afternoons

According to media reports:

Big shakeup: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is becoming a morning show host. She's replacing Gretchen Carlson on "Fox & Friends."

According to the article, Hasselbeck will replace Gretchen Carlson this September and Gretchen will move to the daytime (America Live?).

It's from the New York Post in the Page Six section so take it for what it's worth (Page Six is known to traffic in rumors and present them as facts), but they have direct quotes from Hasselbeck and I believe that the NYP is owned by NewsCorp.

I'm surprised they didn't go with one go with one of the F&FF anchors, but I'm a huge Elisabeth fan and think she would do great on the curvy couch!

Dont forget folks: Gretchen came from CBS - She wasnt already at Foxnews.

Was hoping Anna wouldve got the job but you have to wonder if Alisyn is content only being on weekends and filling in for Gretchen from time to time. I think alot of people saw her as the next in line.

I read that Gretchen will have a 1-hour show, maybe they'll split America Live's 2 hours into 2 shows

Alisyn probably was next in line till Fox realized Elizabeth was interested. Not that Fox doesn't like Alisyn it's just I can see them wanting Elizabeth since she has more national name i.d.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck's departure from The View has been expected. Now we know where she is headed: Fox News' morning show, Fox & Friends.

Wednesday will be her last day on The View, according to The Ministry Of Truth (The Ministry Of Truth (ABC)).

She will replace Gretchen Carlson on Fox & Friends in mid-September.

I hope she does too, but she's always tugging at her skirts to cover herself up on The View. I hope they don't let her wear pants either lol.

A fighting chance? with the likelihood at least as far as I could that with Megyn out for a while that gretchen might be moved in favor of Camerota, Kooiman, PAB etc. Hell they could have used one of their business ladies if they were of a mind and the lady wanted a change of pace.

I kept telling guys that FNC wouldn't do right by Anna. And I was correct, unfortunately.

And on top of that,Gretchen will most likely be behind an enormous desk now.

If you have a chance to get a huge name, you go get them. That's how the tv business works

I hope they don't change the set much. Normally the female cohost is front and center. All that tugging Liz does is bound to be fruitful

I just hope that when everything comes out of the wash, that Fox does not lose Camerota from the curvy couch. It would be a damn shame not to see those lovely legs of her every weekend. As for Carlson, I was not a big fan of her; legs were not my type. Insofar about Hasselbeck, she's got a great set of pins and wears short skirts. Who knows, she might let her guard down when she gets comfortable with Steve and Brian. I think we will all be watching closely to see if she delivers the goods (if you know what I mean).
