I watched the nearly 25 minute long segment from Wednesday's #lizclamanlive:
https://twitter.com/LizClaman/status/1242934055404023810Among the highlights:
1. At around the 19:15 mark, we finally got to see for the first time the view from outside her house (
).
At first glance, you can clearly see the raw sewage let alone the horrible smell like dirty laundry. Did you see also notice that it is the base where the Hudson River begins?
It would easily be the equivalent of trying to live near the (extremely noisy) National Mascot Hall of Fame in Whiting, Indiana--just less than a mile away from Lake Michigan and all of those oil tanks from the BP Refinery no more than a mile and a half away to the south.
2. After trying to call for pizza delivery at 3 different locations, but all of them were closed...she made lasagna from a cookbook given to her in the mid 1990's while working in Cleveland penned by none other than--
Mr. Food, that one time syndicated cooking guy who would give recipes during the late local news--I think it aired once a week if I am not mistaken.
She said she will try to post her recipe when she gets the chance (and who knows, maybe we will get to see a pic of her kids to see if they actually enjoyed eating it
.)
3. Once her self quarantine period ends this weekend, she is kindly asking her fans to see that we want to see more of these Twitter #lizclamanlive segments.
UPDATE, Liz returned to the studio on June 16, 2021.
While Deirdre Bolton continues to hold the fort in New York, I hope we as fans can send nice notes to her Twitter handle and she can continue to send us updates "with better picture quality" similar to normal times when we see Fox Business or any other cable channel in general.
So far, these segments have both been insightful and interesting to watch.
We can do this, guys
.
You know where to go, it is just a matter of doing it
