One QB is looking to play in his ninth Super Bowl. The other is in his second-ever playoff game. This is the gap in this year's AFC Championship between the Patriots and Chiefs, which is a rematch from their October meeting, which was also at Arrowhead. The Patriots won that game, handing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs their first loss of the season. However, that game would not make a world of difference in the battle of homefield, as KC managed to finish with a 12-4 record, one game ahead of the Patriots at 11-5, so this rematch will be at Arrowhead. Many of us who despise the hypocrisy and arrogance of the Patriots are salivating at this, as this latest installment in the Brady/Belichick Era has been the worst by far. All five of NE's losses this year were to teams who failed to make the playoffs: Steelers, Titans, Dolphins, Bills, and yes, the Lions. However, all four of KC's losses this year were to this year's playoff teams: Rams, Chargers, Seahawks, and yes, the aforementioned Patriots. I do believe, though, that KC won't fall to the Patriots twice at home this year, because they are a different team from three months prior. They solved the problem of winning playoff games at home in the Divisional Playoff, I think they have it all figured out and will do the same to New England.
Prediction: Chiefs by 3
