The ABC9 affiliate in Manchester, New Hampshire runs a special series titled New Hampshire Chronicle.

On Tuesday, Ginger was featured talking mostly about how she got her start in weather by watching the movie Twister. Also featured are many short clips and her speaking at a major event talking about her mental health diagnosis in saying that mental health should be right up there with physical health.

If you have read one or both of her books, it should give some clear examples on why it is so important so we won't go down a similar black hole like she did 10 days before arriving at ABC News.

For a change in this board, largely since former great board poster aztec could not cover most of March 2014 following Ginger's heart stopping dance number prior to that year's Academy Awards--I managed to dig up over the weekend two sets of caps from mid to late March of that year.

You can tell right away how we used to watch television in standard definition (decent picture quality, but only was sharper when the camera was more in focus.)
Once the eventual transition to HD was completed the following month--man, what a difference it has made.

For those curious enough to know, the man who tossed that crumpled piece of paper at Ginger's head was none other than one-time ESPN SportsCenter anchor Josh Elliott.

Everyone knows about Ginger's well publicized mental health concerns, and it is important we all take some time in our everyday lives to make sure that we stay healthy, whether you are online or with family/friends/co-workers, etc. Talk things out if you are struggling or uncertain/frustrated that things in life may not be what you had hoped for (certain goals you were trying to achieve for example.)

Originally recorded in October 2020, this meditative podcast features a rather lengthy description:

Coupled with Ginger's two books, it will be interesting to see how we as people can change our state of mind the better.
