Here is a two-fer from Wednesday, starting off of course in the morning ;).
And yes, notice the expression on her face in teasing her appearance on one of America's classic game shows.

Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image

In primetime, she was one of the celebrity guests during the first half hour of The $100,000 Pyramid.

A few things I observed during her time on the show:

1) How could she forget about Michael Strahan and his times playing football? All she could mention is her watching some Detroit Lions games while growing up on a farm in Western Michigan and not having any interest in watching the sport.

2) Her first pairing with a woman named Anastasia. An actual phone person that we typically hear recordings of each time we want to speak to a human (sound familiar to all of you cable/streaming subscribers?) What are the odds??

3) Although things didn't turn out great in the first bonus game, but she managed to get all six words/phrases right in 37 seconds to end things on a high note.

4) If this thing called COVID-19 hadn't gotten in the way, we could only imagine what Ginger would have done to high-five the contestants :( .

5) Sorry about the quality of the pics, since I was using a slightly older PC hard drive. At least, I could safely say that there were not too many blurred images during her nearly 29 minutes on the show.

6) Unlike when I capped TPIR, the camera switches so quickly that I had a very difficult time to catch the right image--unlike when Amber Lancaster or Rachel Reynolds stand and pose, where there is ample time to get the best image possible.

With that said, enjoy as Ginger Zee should have her name added to the growing IMDB database :D

Ginger Zee to release her fifth book, A Little Closer To Home

It marks the second one dealing with her major mental health issues. This time around, she digs deeper on what she did in telling fans and others who might be suffering on why she did not end up becoming another statistic in those who commit suicide instead of asking for professional help.

Available where books are sold, to be released on October 12 and also on Amazon's Kindle device/app:

Sorry I could not get any caps from their outdoor Broadway performance, which ironically enough had a good chunk of the road in Times Square was blocked off by the NYPD.

Enjoy the caps, this coming three days following another sad trip to cover the major flooding throughout southern Louisiana.

Ginger was featured on September 14 on a special list of scientists and meteorologists nationwide in a dedicated series on how they are leading the way in helping combat climate change:

https://blog.breezometer.com/leading-weather-climate-voices-to-follow

By no means is this list complete, since they are taking submissions if anyone knows of other leading scientists and/or meteorologists that are helping contribute the ways we are hoping to get our planet Earth back on a proper footing. Let us all hope that we won't have to experience so many millions of us having suffer record setting heat waves in 2021 (in particular the Pacific Northwest, the likes of which they have never seen), or with the numerous wildfires out West and the more frequent hurricanes and tropical stores lashing out in the Gulf Region and Deep South.

Besides Ginger, the list also features Jen Carfagno and Stephanie Abrams from TWC, along with Crystal Egger formerly of TWC.

This short segment was done inside Summit One Vanderbilt, a major high rise structure in New York on Thursday morning:

Quite a feat defying gravity, similar to the one time when Ginger was walking a tightrope connecting two buildings along Chicago's North Shore several years back.

More climate change reports coming soon, but on Monday she returned after last being seen in the studio on Thursday, November 4.

On Sunday's This Week program, Ginger talked about some major steps that were made thanks to Congress passing President Biden's infrastructure package.

There is a long way to go, but as she says in the clip: one football field from goal line to goal line would help power 40 homes with solar power instead of using electricity and fossel fuels.

Definitely worth checking out:

Ginger took us to the Maldives and other correspondents visited India and a remote island where seaweed is helping curb emissions in believe or not, what pigs eat.

Not to be outdone, but Chicago has seen rising waters for the last several years. Some of you might remember seeing the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) holding many noteworthy tournaments, both at Oak Street and North Avenue Beach along the Lake Michigan shoreline.

But the way things have been going since 2013, that may all be just a memory.

Here is what Ginger mentioned during her time in the Maldvies.

All I can say about as I watched the program, it is very gripping and she tells it like it is:

Finally, here is a short video from her time spent in Iceland:
