The second day of tape from across the Pacific Ocean included a stop in Tokyo, Japan on Wednesday morning.
Both Ginger and Patrice sampled popcorn in four different flavors.
Besides butter, they tried honey, strawberry, and unique to Japan--soy sauce

After a stopover in Hong Kong (which featured more dancing and not enough camera time while touring), they both made up for it in a big way in Shanghai, China. That segment aired on Thursday.
After getting asked by Mickey Mouse himself to come down from a large castle, the highlight occurred towards the end. There, they both met with their Japanese guide as both ladies and thanks to the magic of editing, were whisked with the proverbial magic wand--and wolla, they were both practicing their very own dancing number during a dress rehearsal for the
Beauty and The Beast show.
.
By the time they arrived back at the Shangahi International Airport, Ginger was seen wearing a rather strange lime green hat
. Wonder which Disney character she was promoting?
Nonetheless, here are the caps to wrap up this special two-fer for all of us fans patient enough to wait for any cool caps of Ginger Zee (unless someone can upload her daily weather updates back in New York--that would be awesome
):
Thankfully, Ginger made in back to the United States safely just as the wildfires were wiping apart most of Los Angeles. After catching up a bit on her sleep from traveling several time zones to the east, it was off to Orlando and Walt Disney World to close out this epic trip.
And if you all noticed on Ginger's Twitter, there was another surprise for Latrice and her husband. They were both invited to be on board a Disney Cruise ship this weekend in western Florida.
What a way to wrap up touring all six Disney Parks in one week.
Hopefully, Ginger will get some much needed sleep.
