A smaller but important thing to be thankful for is we have this area of enjoyment to come to.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the cappers and posters. May you enjoy the holiday week with family and friends. Our country has been through alot this year. Whether it was a mass shooting, hurricane, wildfires, or the daily grind til we got the election over with, it was a very stressful year. So as we come to the end of this year, we can always find atleast one thing we're thankful for and hope for better days heading into next year. |

Most importantly, I am so thankful that we are healthy and strong. Regardless of the changes that come our way, we always persist and come through often. Even in times we cannot cap immediately--at least, in my case I try my best to find some time to spend in capping the shows that I like best. And I wish to say also that Thanksgiving could not have come at a better time. (Next year, it will be late--on November 28, 2019 to be precise). Enjoy some extra stuffing and cranberry sauce on me. And we will all find out early enough on CBS if indeed the Chicago Bears win their first Turkey Day game since the old Pontiac Silverdome days in 1980. Yes, it has been that long. Being a young kid at the time, I will remember that day simply as a game they should have lost 17 to 10, but ended up winning over Detroit on the final two plays: A clever sneak by much maligned QB Vince Evans just as the clock hit zero, followed by a soccer style extra point by Bob Thomas forced overtime. Bears win the toss and seconds later Davey Williams (who was a sprint star while in college at the University of Colorado), but somehow managed to outrace three would be tacklers and scampered down the left sideline 95 yards for an improbable Bears victory. The ironic thing was the coach that day, was none other than Neill Armstrong (who was not related to the famous astronaut with the same last name--you can look it up). It stands to this day as the only time in NFL history that a game ended on the opening kickoff to begin any overtime period. |

Really thankful to have this site and be able to interact with other fans of beautiful news ladies. When the site was down for several days earlier this year I realzied how much I enjoy it. Life can get rough and times and this is a great distraction. Thanks to all of those who run the site and to those that cap and share. |
