Post subject:  Fats Domino Record Lp' s RIP

"aint that a shame" was one of the first rock songs that I had on an old 78rpm record. When I heard Pat boone's cover on that song
I realized the song was terrible but Fats made it good

Hope I get the spelling right but his 1st name was Antoine. The list of his hits rival any from the beginning or R&R. :rock Fats

Wow. I'm guessing a 78 version of Ain't That A Shame is worth a few bucks :shades

As a kid, I had half of a 2 LP mail order compilation of his hits. I played that thing to death. The (already flimsy) jacket became beat as hell. Blueberry Hill is still one of my favorite songs of all time.

Rest In Peace, Fats. Forever a part of music history. :cry:

Don't have any in the 78 RPM but have several original in 45 RPM. Worth something to me anyway. :Thumb
