A 400GB runs about $250-360 so it seems that dvdr/dvr could be a bit cheaper

malone, that may seem high but its the cost of the whole recording/dvd burnin system and tuner and editing feature. Im not a PC expert but what would it cost to have a PC capable of recording/editing/burning DVD's off of a TV tuner with a 400GB hard drive? anyway, by next christmas it should come down to $750-$900
