Did anyone come to any agreement or consensus and find a image hosting service where when you click on the link to go to the image you don't have a risk of virus hitting you in the face if an ad pops up?

imgbox is good, I use that all the time and never have any problems except for occasional uploading of the caps themselves.

BAD NEWS: Effective June 30, 2017, Imagebam and Imgbox -- two of the biggest photo uploaders -- will be no more; all pics that have been on there will be gone forever, so download as many while you still can (while looking for a new host)!

Going the same way as Some Image :Doh Just noticed that even Upix.me has closed down all my caps from 2010 to 2012 lost

Upix was a trial for what is now Hotflick.

GREAT NEWS! Imagebam and Imgbox will not be shutting down after all, so all those thousands and thousands of pics will remain intact.

Backing them all up with only a few days to go would've lasted an eternity!

That is awesome news. Thanks for this very welcome news.

Just fyi, I spent most of Sunday night duplicating all of my images from June 8th through the 25th back on my imgbox page.

However, most of the original links that I have from the PiXhost site should continue to remain. Just wanted to make myself clear on that.

ImgBox is a right mess been checking my account which has over 900 pages of screen caps, only a small percentage of my galleries have the full set of caps. The rest has hundreds of missing caps which to me suggests, that ImgBox is not reliable to do bulk uploads of screen caps. To be honest I am a bit nervous continuing with Image Bam or ImgBox. I have over 1000 pages of screen caps using Image Bam.
