Can anyone tell me how I can save a video that was shown on a local news channel? I know how to do it with YouTube/Facebook ect., but this one has me stumped. Is it possible to do without downloading software? Would appreciate any help. :Thumb

Thanks, Loneranger. I should've been clearer. What I meant is that there is a video posted online on a news channel and I want to save it to my computer. Like I said I already know how to save vids from YouTube and Facebook and Daily Motion, but I can't figure out how to save a video on this news site to my computer. Here is the link to the site with the video I want to save:

Thanks. I downloaded the file using the program "internet download manager" and uploaded it to SENDSPACE

https://www.sendspace.com/file/ozglmo

"Internet download manager" works on most sites but is NOT free unless you are into pirating software using a torrent file etc. The file could also be copied using a video capture program like "replay capture 8) also not free which captures the screen to video

Hope this helps

When using Firefox or Google Chrome. I use Video Download helper to save videos to my computer.
The add on is free and will download most videos, and is easy to use.
Firefox add on link

Google Grome add on link
