So is it possible to for these imaging sites to get rid of the virus? I've been really reluctant to click on any pics bc I got the virus 2 weeks ago and dont want to f up my computer again.

This must have been what did a number on my computer. Virus screwed up the "explorer". I didn't lose anything. I could get it to work on safe mode but now it's in the shop anyway. I always use imagevenue so I guess that's where I got it.

Glad I got TrueBlock Plus after reading this. (I like it better than Adblock) Also got noscript and flashblock. Will try to install at least two of them in each Firefox profile (I have two accounts on my computer) :Boxing

I don't use PC Pitstop anymore but I still ocassionaly check out their news letter. This caught my attention b/c of this thread. If true beware, as things have progressed to a new level. Sites using real people to scare us into purchasing useless software to resolve non-existent issues.

I have been getting malware alerts from various topics on this site, but only from firefox.
