I don’t care about either team, but Texas winning is good for the sport. If AZ had won, more and more teams would’ve thought “hey we can spend a lot less money, squeak into the playoffs with 84 wins and hope to get lucky in October.”

Late to the discussion, but I could've gone either way this series. As an NL guy I wouldn't have minded seeing the Diamondbacks win (plus Madison Bumgarner gets another ring just by sitting on his couch), but it's good to see Bruce Bochy win another title. I suppose this almost makes up for when he beat them in 2010.
It certainly was a World Series nobody could've predicted. The Phillies were seemingly red hot going into the NLCS, and it always seem like the Astros find ways to... nah, that's too easy. The 2024 season should be interesting.
