What can I say about the Green Bay Packers this season? Aaron Rodgers, at age 37, is continuing to rack up impressive numbers: 4,299 yards, 48 TDs, only five picks, and an over 70% completion percentage--first QB in NFL history to achieve this. Davante Adams has been living in the end zone; leading the league in TDs despite not playing a full season. Robert Tonyan has been the NFL's best kept secret; racking up TDs in a league where the only TEs who get a lot of attention are Travis Kelce and George Kittle. Aaron Jones tearing it up running the ball. Even the defense, the very thing that has annoyed and angered us Packers fans for a long time--the defense is doing a lot of things right.

The Packers will host a Los Angeles Rams team who is coming off embarrassing the Seattle Seahawks in grand fashion. The Rams have been maligned this season due to their rollercoaster season, but they showed what they're capable of when they really try. 30-20, leading the entire way, and completely messing up Seattle's game plan. While it did see Jared Goff back in action despite the bad thumb, it may have come at the cost of the leader of that top-ranked defense: Aaron Donald. Though I see Donald playing, no way he misses this game.

2020 Statistics

Green Bay Packers

Total Offense: 6,224 yds; 389 ypg (5th)
Passing Offense: 4,106 yds; 256.6 ypg (9th)
Rushing Offense: 2,118 yds; 132.4 ypg (8th)
Total Defense: 5,344 yds; 334 ypg (9th)
Passing Defense: 3,539 yds; 221.2 ypg (7th)
Rushing Defense: 1,805 yds; 112.8 ypg (13th)

Los Angeles Rams

Total Offense: 6,032 yds; 377 ypg (11th)
Passing Offense: 4,014 yds; 250.9 ypg (13th)
Rushing Offense: 2,018 yds; 126.1 ypg (10th)
Total Defense: 4,511 yds; 281.9 ypg (1st)
Passing Defense: 3,051 yds; 190.7 ypg (1st)
Rushing Defense: 1,460 yds; 91.3 ypg (3rd)

Some more interesting numbers. Packers lead the league in points. Rams have given up the fewest points this season. Despite the Rams' top ranked defense, their turnover ratio is a bad one: -3. The Rams have more takeaways than the Packers, but our turnover ratio is +7 due to the fact that we've committed the fewest turnovers this season (11). This will be a hell of a game, and it should end with the Packers emerging victorious.

Prediction: Packers by 6

Wouldn’t want to a Rams fan. Tied to that Jared Goff contract. Packers ran the ball really well.
