Cards score four in the first and don't look back; win Game One in dominant fashion.

Blue Jays were so young. Just to make the playoffs was good.

Dodgers' timely hits--Corey Seager's late HR among them--lead them to a Game One victory.

Well I initially was right. Good pitching stopped good hitting.

Chicago's pitching collapses, leading A's to take Game Three and advance.

That 5 run 7th with over 30 mph winds coming off Lake Michigan definitely surprised the baseball world.

Also of note, Thursday's game was postponed due to many passing showers throughout the Chicagoland area.

Ten minutes it was raining, and then 15 minutes later it was sunny. The Cubs were smart and decided to play Game 2 on Friday.

Depending on the outcomes of the Cardinals/Padres and Brewers/Dodgers game, they may be playing on ABC again at 2 p.m. Eastern or back on ESPN at 7 p.m. Eastern.

Add to that leaving 28 runners on base, hitting 4 for 27 with runners in scoring position.

It doesn't matter whether it is during the regular season or a playoff game, you have to capitalize and sadly the White Sox couldn't do it in their final 2 games.

Overall, it was definitely a surprising truncated season. But I will remember it most after being swept in Cleveland and finishing that Ohio road trip winning 1 out of 7 games.

Counting this series in Oakland, Chicago lost 9 of their last 13 games.

Rick Hahn will have his work cut out for him, depending on how long this particular off-season ends up being--if and only if this COVID-19 virus is finally contained.

At least, Rick Renteria's boys made things interesting. And look for Luis Robert and Eloy Jiminez to be quite a tandem once Jose Abreu's time to hang up the cleats down the road.

The amazing fact was that all seven of the Marlins in both games occurred in the 7th inning.

And both games had winds coming off of Lake Michigan, making it feel really cold.
