The only all-Canadian series in the group; with both teams coming off bad first round losses last season. The Winnipeg Jets went all the way to the West Final two years ago, but went backwards last season, losing in six to the eventual Cup Champions, the St. Louis Blues. This season saw them lose Jacob Trouba to the Rangers, while also going without Dustin Byfuglien as well. The Calgary Flames were the best team in the entire Western Conference last season, but were decimated by the Colorado Avalanche in just five games in Round 1. The Flames also have an impressive bunch: Mark Giordano, Matthew Tkachuk, and of course, Johnny Gaudreau (whose disappearing act--one point--contributed to their early exit). Though, honestly, Winnipeg should take this, not only because they're stronger, but I don't trust Flames after their terrible outing last year.
