A number of our favorite ladies are going to be taking a lot of time off. The only women in sports, we'll see are those who have shows and/or cover the NFL which is still going to be busy with free agency and draft prep (plus you don't need to leave the office to do those expect for Pro Days) but probably still be limited for safety.

I don't know who I feel bad the most. Those are going to miss time (mixed blessing for them) or those who cover sports on the local TV stations (outside the 32 cities with NFL teams or around cities with teams).

Feel bad for the employees making minimum wage who work games. They won't be able to make ends meet.

On a lighter note: The Astros are washing the trash cans to keep the players safe. ;)

That's true. At least the on-air talent have contracts and probably get paid even when the games are canceled more than likely. Those who work at the arenas only get paid when the games happened and when those games are gone, they're screwed (too strong?).

Besides, without the NCAA Tournament--and the suspensions of the NBA, NHL, MLS, MLB, Nascar, and IndyCar, The Masters golf tournament, the list goes on and on.

The ESPN family of networks is really going to be hurting the most.
Besides, who wants to be watching documentaries for 18 straight hours?

This takes me back to the 1980's, when SportsCenter did a late night show and then that same hour would repeat many times during the overnight hours.

FS1 still has plenty of sports in their library (Big East basketball and Nascar/Xfinity Series races), similar case with NHL games on NBCSN. CBSSN has besides college sports--rodeo and a few other sports not commonly mentioned on social media.

But of course, we always have YouTube.
Pick a game, pick a year, whatever sport it might be and let the memories play. The best part for me is, you can always pause when you need to wash your hands--that's right, no need to rush back with the commercials airing for 2 minutes at every media timeout.
