It was so much fun watching the Tennessee Titans take down the New England Patriots, wasn't it? We all enjoyed it Saturday; many are still laughing about it. Now it's down to business for Mike Vrabel and his team. Tennessee's big win earned them a trip to Baltimore to face the top-seeded Ravens. The Ravens started 2-2 and have won TWELVE straight since then. How? Mainly behind Lamar Jackson, who took over for Joe Flacco late last season and led them to a division title. However, Lamar's first playoff game last year didn't go well, as the Ravens were defeated by the Los Angeles Chargers in the AFC Wild Card Playoff. Even so, Lamar has proved doubters dead wrong this season, as he is literally running away with the MVP this year. Notes: The Ravens are in their 24th season; this is their first as the overall #1. This is the second playoff meeting between the two teams; the only other meeting saw the sixth-seeded Ravens defeat the top-ranked Titans in the 2008 AFC Divisional Playoff. The only way to beat the Ravens is to handle or slow down Lamar Jackson. I can't see them doing that, quite frankly. Prediction: Ravens by 10 #1 |
