Public Service Announcement:

To college football fans everywhere...please, please,PLEASE...

DO NOT ADVOCATE FOR EXPANDING THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF...EVER!!!

Louisiana State is in the CFP because the Tigers, and their feline brethren in Auburn, AL decided that they would not play "glorified conference scrimmage partners" for the Alabama Crimson Tide this year.

Utah (Pacific-12) is not in the CFP because they failed to DO THEIR JOB (i.e, win their conference championship game against a lower ranked but much superior Oregon Ducks squad.

Four teams is plenty. We do not need all the Power Five conferences represented in the Playoff. Do your job, win your games, or STFU.

Discussion over.

Go Navy Beat Army.

CFP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME Monday January 13 8:00pm ET New Orleans

Winner of Peach Bowl LSU 42

VS.

Winner of Fiesta Bowl CLEMSON 25

It's hard to come up with enough ways to describe the dominant season that the LSU Tigers had. In the championship game, LSU gained 628 yards of offense. Just unreal. Mr. Burrow threw for 463 yards and 5 TD's. Unbelievable. Ja'Marr Chase caught 9 passes for 221 yards and 2 TD's. Amazing. They did this in spite of racking up 118 penalty yards.

LSU became the first team in history to beat each of the top four teams in the preseason AP poll:

1. Clemson 42-25
2. Alabama 46-41
3. Georgia 37-10
4. Oklahoma 63-28

Is this the beginning of a dynasty? It sure feels like it.

Thanks for letting me share this season. :D
