Post subject:  Central Semifinals: (1)Predators vs (4)Stars
Two years ago, the Nashville Predators reached the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in franchise history. They fell short, and their attempt to return saw them blasted in Game Seven against the Winnipeg Jets, and their struggles basically continued during the regular season. Even so, Pekka Rinne did just enough of a fantastic job in front of the net to lead the Predators to another division crown and a 100-point season. The Dallas Stars missed the playoffs each of the last two years, and they went through with some early season drama when their owner blamed their problems on star players Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. Despite this, those two, along with the goaltending tandem of Anton Khudobin and Ben Bishop, led the Stars to the 1st Wild Card position. This should be a terrific series, but I don't see Dallas getting past the Preds.

Prediction: Predators in six
