This podcast, which was released on YouTube on April 18 features Laura talking about her rise to joining ESPN (even though she first thought of becoming a professional dancer long before entering college and pivoting to journalism) and how demanding hosting NFL Live is, especially during the regular season and playoffs.
Of particular interest to these boards, Laura also talked about her approach to fashion in sports broadcasting. I found that to be a very bold move, since we often hear of the typical woman to woman conversations about fashion. Some examples of this are WNBA legend Sue Bird and Los Angeles Sparks center Cameron Brink's podcasts where they dish about fashion on a periodic basis.
