Kate has been at CNN since 2007 (when she was 24). Considering she only turned 40 in 2023, that's actually a very long time. This year it'll be 17 years. Getting closer to 20 years than not. From a career point of view, that deserves a lot of kudos. Hopefully she stays for many more years.

She always seemed kind of stiff but she’s much better on her new show
I attribute a lot of that to John Berman
Berman works easily with everybody and the women seem to love working with him
Brianna Keilar worked well with him too

Brianna Keilar joined CNN in 2006 at the age of 25 or 26.

It is remarkable, 17 years in one place without ever having any ratings success in any time slot.

Brianna was 26.

She and Kate have been with the network a long time.

You can say that about a lot of people on CNN
Poppy Harlow is the best morning host CNN has had and still nobody watches

Yep, Kaitlan Collins is another one who is apparently going to work there forever while never getting any ratings.
Remember the rush to give her “her own show?”
How’s that working out?
(Also, Anderson Cooper’s continued employment remains a mystery)
If they fired everyone tomorrow and started over with a complete new cast of people we’ve never heard of, would it really get any worse?

Poppy Harlow has been there since 2008. Zain Asher has been there for 10 years. They have quite a few people who have been on their roster for a long time - a decade plus.

This year Kaitlan Collins will have already been with CNN for 7 years.

Kate, Brianna & Poppy have all been great for many years but lets not forget Erin Burnett. At the same time slot 7pm est Outfront since October of 2011. Been on maternity leave 3 separate times and still managed to travel to Europe, Ukraine & the Middle East for major stories. EBOF is a mainstay on CNN and is testament that honest reporting is still valued even if fewer people are watching.

Before that she was a mainstay for CNBC
Speaking of which, Melissa Lee marks 20 years at CNBC and 15 years of hosting Fast Money this year :Kool
At Fox you have Ainsley, Harris, Sandra, Martha, Molly Line, Julie Banderas all with at least 15 years there

Even more remarkable that they stayed on during the Roger Ailes & O'Reilly episodes when they could've easily jumped ship.

And has never had any ratings success either.
How do these people stay employed?
Must be nice—-finish last constantly and nothing ever changes.

The Weather Channel has Stephanie Abrams, Jen Carfagno and Kelly Cass with at least 20 years there.

Seema Mody has been at CNBC since 2011.
