25th season of Access Hollywood premieres in September

25 years ago, Access Hollywood premiered in 1996, the show that made Nancy O'Dell and Pat O'Brien household names. Since the inception, Access Hollywood has evolve for millions of viewers watching at home and paved the way for Billy Bush, Natalie Morales, Maria Menounos, and Shaun Robinson just to name a few. There'll be some big news on the talent spot in the coming days and we expect to have Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans, Sibley Scoles, and Zuri Hall back for the 25th season.

A lot of people used to follow Kit, me included on ESPN2's Cold Pizza also back in the 1990's.

Hope this silver anniversary catches on, even with all of the layoffs that NBCU had to do a few weeks back.

Actually Cold Pizza was 2003-2007 though Kit (along with Thea Andrews) left in 2005.

Judging by that list, they NEED some big news on the talent in the coming days: I’ve only heard of 2 of those 5 people

We might see an Access Hollywood reunion with OG hosts Nancy O'Dell, Pat O'Brien, Maria Menounos, and Shaun Robinson during the season in the near future.

Access' first hosts were Larry Mendte and Giselle Fernandez; O'Brien joined from CBS Sports in 1997, replacing Mendte.

Tony Potts and a pre-KABC Amy Powell also had stints there.
