Starting on Monday, WBZ in Boston is shuffling up the anchor team.

5:30pm and 10pm Anchor Liam Martin is being moved to the AM newscast alongside Kate Merrill. Martin has been doing the evening and late shows since 2015.

Anchor/Reporter Anaridis Rodriguez will be moved to co-anchor of 5:30pm newscast with Paula Ebben. She will also anchor the 10pm WBZ-TV newscast on WSBK-TV. She has been with the station since 2017.

“The new assignments are a testament to the hard work and credibility of two outstanding journalists,” said Mark Lund, WBZ-TV and WSBK-TV President and General Manager. “Liam’s experience and expertise, along with his understanding of Boston, make him a great addition to the morning team. Anaridis is a solid journalist, who is a trusted and respected figure within our community… a wonderful addition to our evening team.”

They have really fawked up that station... they canned Katie Brace but kept Breanna Pitts and a few other newbies.... stations like FOX 25 and WHDH are showing their anchors bodies and legs... WBZ dropped the ball here

Wasn't Anaridis with the Weather Channel? I wonder if she could go national again.
