A lot of the precautions shows are taking in light of the Coronavirus could be here to stay
Few in-studio guests
No live audiences
No more Rockefeller Plaza or Fox Square
Anchors in different studios
A LOT more closeups
Fewer long shots or full body shots
There are more important things we have to get used to these days
But I think this change might be for good

Even sports are mostly going either to past games or documentaries.

I post humorous stuff on social media as it relates to reaction people make to this virus yet we live in a world of viruses on a daily basis. We're more likely to get a common cold or even the flu and the same guidelines apply to those as are in place for coronavirus.

Just keep the women we adore and their families in your thoughts.

Yeah, I'm hearing rumors that ESPN is trying to get the last dance to air sometime soon like this week or next because they have no sports to cover (other than the NFL Offseason). This stinks but it is what it is.

The Last Dance looks good. Hope to see it sooner rather than later.
Nicole Briscoe has been hosting SC this week. Also, Wendi Nix has been apart of the NFL Free Agency coverage.

It’s a bizarre time in our country. Let’s hope that people stay away from each other and then we can hopefully get back to normal a lot sooner.

Morning Express started spacing everybody out throughout the studio this week, but this morning they took it a step further by putting everyone in different studios, though Jen eventually came back to the main studio, but situated by the wall. Watching bits and pieces of HSN and QVC show that they're practicing social distancing as well.

If a massive outbreak doesn't happen, some people are going to say that we overreacted with this. Um, the overreaction is why it didn't happen.

Many sports anchors in several local TV outlets have done just that, even sometimes with humorous results.

It is interesting to see the correspondents and contributors reporting from home and doing their own makeup

Shannon Bream has been doing her show from her guest bedroom, or as Jancie Dean says Shannon calls it "The Janice Dean Suite" :jetserl

As this goes on, I’ve noticed a few of our favorite blondes are now brunettes :jetserl :Kool

And if your local CBS/CW station is owned by CBS, you won't be seeing some of your favorite faces back either.

CBS3 Philly's Chandler Lutz, Chantee Lans and Lesley Van Ardsall have been fired this week.

Sharon Tay has also been fired from KCBS/KCAL.

okay i work place that does medical and hospital Landry. ever one scared right now that no one know what going to happen. if we had true leader ship and true plan at start we would not be where we are today. not making political but we had no true plan or true leader ship to unity with our people. we have not been get true facts or false facts too. we get both side lead one way or other. we do not have true fact to lead us to safety

Even the News biz isn't recession-proof. It's sad to see. There are millions of others in the same boat. It would be nice if some stations brought back some talent back in the studio but still practicing social distancing of course. I know that News Channel 8 had talent outside their studio (in the loading dock I think) but since then they've brought their talent back in the studio.
