Good thought on Shepard Smith. He's still young and prob itching to get a new seat before the election. And the risk that he'd offer an unwanted compliment to a female coworker is slim to nil

"Retired"? I think resigned is the more fitting word. Long time coming.
I would like to see MSNBC replace him with a female journalist since the primary competition in that hour is Erin Burnett Outfront on CNN and The Story w/Martha MacCallum on Fox News.
Ironically, Erin became a direct competitor of his a few years later and remains a much better news hour.

All I have heard thus far that they will have a rotating group of hosts until a permanent anchor is named.

And as he said, he thought he gave compliments was once true or even Ok but he refused to change with the times.
