Watching New Day this morning
They came out of commercial and Christi Paul was doing a standup
You could see she was wearing a dress but nothing below because ...
CNN had, above the news ticker and the weather ticker, a big promo ad they used for at least three upcoming shows and then it melded into the story tease
As it turned out Christi was wearing boots but that's not the point
Does CNN do crap like this all the time?

:Doh ...YES. If it isn't promos for a new upcoming series they're reminding you of the next show on the prime time lineup. Not to mention the endless countdown clocks and an ever present ticker. Its definitely worse in the morning (New Day) into the afternoon (CNN Newsroom w/Brooke Baldwin)

Fox and MSNBC drop it from time to time and they aren’t as bad as CNN on the promos

I hate it when a video is being shown and the bar across the bottom covers up the thing you need too see the most (as in a putt being sunk, etc.).

My two shiny pennies:

CNN sucks big time in regards to viewing the female talent. Too many onscreen graphics ( the ticker, the promos, the clock, etc.), the sets (especially the shows for Erin and Brooke) and sometimes the lighting (see previous).

HLN is supposed to be CNN's sickly baby brother, but even they showcase their ladies better than CNN does.

While all the networks have the useless unnecessary on-screen clutter and promos, CNN goes overboard with it

That's CNN for ya. They never show what you want to see. Can't see what Brooke Alisyn or Poppy is wearing and can't see any legs, walking action of any kind. No wonder we can't get caps and videos because of CNN!
