On Monday night, longtime ESPN anchor Linda Cohn became only the fourth woman to be inducted into the National Sports Media Association Hall of Fame. Chris Berman became the first ESPN anchor to be inducted in 2016.
The organization has been around for 58 years and recently moved to their new headquarters in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Other inductees this year included longtime New York sportswriter Mike Lupica, SI writer and Fox Sports baseball analyst Tom Verducci, and the late MNF broadcaster/NFL Hall of Famer Frank Gifford.
Over the weekend, she headlined a symposium for college students trying to get into the ever-changing world of sports journalism.
