and people are noticing it :
This is an actual news story about it:
Amid Winds Of Change, Fox News Women Now Wear Pants On The Air
Recently-ousted Fox News host Bill O’Reilly was infamous for inciting anger from liberals by making comments about how women looked on the air. But following his departure last month and that of co-president Bill Shine on Monday, viewers themselves have been noticing something about women:
They’re wearing pants now.
Hosts Jenna Lee and Sandra Smith have both appeared in recent weeks wearing pants on the air instead of the dresses said to have been regulation attire before.
This may seem trivial, but for years – possibly since the network’s creation – women have been forbidden to wear pants on the air
In a 2013 appearance by Fox commentator Gretchen Carlson on the Fox News podcast Kilmeade & Friends, host Brian Kilmeade noted that she was dressed casually.
“Nobody’s going to recognize me because not only am I dressed casually, I have pants on,” Carlson responded.
Kilmeade didn’t understand what she was getting at.
“Now, pants are not allowed on Fox and Friends, remember?” Carlson reminded him.
Speaking on ABC’s The View in April, former Fox contributor Jedediah Bila said, “We used to go into a room and there were a bunch of dresses you could choose from. I was told at one point I wasn’t allowed to wear orange because [then-CEO] Roger [Ailes] didn’t like the color orange, so I didn’t wear orange.”
“I didn’t see any pants,” Bila continued. “People always say, ‘Why didn’t you wear pants?’ You’ll notice I wear pants a lot here.”
“I didn’t wear pants because I didn’t see a pants option. I wasn’t given a pants option, so I had to wear skirts,” Bila said.

I was told repeatedly that pants weren't an option. Had a hard enough time sneaking in opaque tights!

11:43 AM - 4David Folkenflik, author of Murdoch’s World, alleged that Fox arranges women on stage on the basis of their attractiveness and, during panning shots, shows off their legs.
--------------------------------
Speaking at a book store stop in Los Angeles in 2013, Folkenflik told the audience, “Essentially they have what they call the ‘leg cam,’ and that is to accentuate the sleekness and design of that particular person on [the] air.”
Last July, three Fox News regulars spoke to Mediaite and denied allegations of leg cams and rules about pants.
But that doesn’t change the fact that until recently few if any women appeared on stage on Fox News without displaying their legs.
With the departure of Ailes, Shine and O’Reilly, rumors that Sean Hannity is on his way out, a fresh wind is blowing at Fox News. And women are wearing pants. Apr 2017

Yeah so this is an actually story. I'm still sorta surprised someone did a story on it..and anyhow even though it isn't as much definitely other women on other Cable News Channels wear somewhat short skirts and show their legs and some i've seen are just as short if not shorter than some of the FoxNewsLadies. I wonder why they're the only ones a story is done on.
Also I have see Jenna Lee wear pants on more than one occassion before all these change ups and shake ups.
I did however notice that the new show "The Specialists" has two gorgeous women with great legs on it but they specifically have a set where they're behind a desk that obscures both of them from the waist down.
I haven't watched it yet but in every pic thats what it seems like anyhow. Don't know if they ever leave from behind there.
