I'll take the blame...Ever since I started capping the show, they brought the desk back and Nicole has rarely been on
I had never seen the format for the whole show until I started recording it. Usually I'd only see the first hour or so before I went to sleep. I had no idea that, typically, Nicole would do 2 hours, then Molly for the other 2. I knew Molly always did Fridays alone.
Nicole's grandfather passed away on May 5; she was gone the rest of that week, which is understandable. She's on vacation this week, as sexycalveandthighman stated.
But even last week when she was there, she was behind the desk basically for her 2 hours, with the exception of a couple short standing segments doing headlines. Molly seemed to have more away from the desk segments in her two hours on those shows.
It's anyone's guess, I suppose. There doesn't really seem to be any predictability to the show from day to day. About the only consistency I've found is at the commercial break before half-past the hour. They show a short bit of what they're doing during the breaks. A lot of the time, this makes for some different views, and occasionally humorous moments:
