QVC is finally broadcasting HD video in the full 16:9 screen, the wing on the right side is now much smaller and does come off the screen at times.
The old QVC HD feed screen setup was a 4:3 standard definition video frame on the left side of the screen and that static wing graphic on the far right.

QVC HD 5/5 Caps

The only bad thing is during meduim to fast camera and people movement the PQ looks like this,

I hope they plan on fixing that.

Until they go 1080p if they move the camera real quick, the way QVC likes to do, then it will probably look like that. But just on stuff where the camera moves real fast. Thats just the way it is with 1080i/720p.

The Price Is Right is 1080i on CBS HD and I get better PQ then on QVC HD which is 1080i.

So far no one else seems to have the same problems but I doubt the problem is just with my provider.
Hopefully someone else can confirm how the PQ on QVC HD is.

Well like you said they are just now broadcasting in full 16:9 and they should hopefully get the kinks out. :Kool

Does that happen quite a bit or is it random?

Cablevision had QVC HD when they added it a couple of weeks ago but when I was channel surfing last week I saw that they switched it back to SD without the sidebar on the right side.

Weird :hum

Same with Comcrap. PQ has gone down the tubes, my HD PQ is terrible. SD DVD's that look better than Comcrap's so called HD. FIOS internet is also a whole lot faster.

I think QVC fixed the PQ problems with the HD feed.

I have QVC HD but haven't really bothered to look at it. I would set recordings for J. Gonzales but I never know when she'll be on....
