Had she obtained permission first, maybe this might not have happened. Again, this begs the questions: How did she land the part? Did Alaina actually take vacation time, unless of course she has family nearby? She isn't the only one to make a cameo in a movie. There have been countless others playin...

Keep in mind this is the first set of games in the "bubble." Similar to what the NBA faced when they entered in Orlando, both California and Texas have experienced huge spikes in COVID-19 cases. Sure hope the protocols that MLB is using will be similar to that of the NBA/WNBA and the NHL. ...

The amazing fact was that all seven of the Marlins in both games occurred in the 7th inning.

And both games had winds coming off of Lake Michigan, making it feel really cold.

Add to that leaving 28 runners on base, hitting 4 for 27 with runners in scoring position. It doesn't matter whether it is during the regular season or a playoff game, you have to capitalize and sadly the White Sox couldn't do it in their final 2 games. Overall, it was definitely a surprising trunca...

That 5 run 7th with over 30 mph winds coming off Lake Michigan definitely surprised the baseball world. Also of note, Thursday's game was postponed due to many passing showers throughout the Chicagoland area. Ten minutes it was raining, and then 15 minutes later it was sunny. The Cubs were smart and...

Three home runs, Adam Engel of all people getting it all started. Later on, Jose Abreu and Nick Madrigal went yard. Great game overall, although did a get tense late with Giolito being chased after becoming only the fifth pitcher in postseason history to record a no-hitter after 6 innings. Three pit...

And the Cubs are at home, weather predicted to be a true pitcher's delight. The Marlins would have to really mash the ball to hit one of those ads, let alone trying to maybe dent one of their LED boards.

But I don't see it happening. David Ross has it mostly figured out, Cubs will win in 2.

Add to that playing all of those 7 inning doubleheaders. The Cardinals are going to be flat out exhausted, let alone having to travel 2 time zones to the west.

You're right--it looks great for the Padres.

As a lifelong White Sox fan, I have three concerns: The health of Eloy Jiminez, after suffering a brief injury in Cleveland. In recent history, the Sox start out hot when they bang the ball all over the yard and occasionally over the fence. But the A's, as they have done--chip away and chip away. Un...

What a find. I am guessing this was the first time that both Amy and Dr. Ashton finally emerged from the dual sided anchor desk. Also while I am at it, I could only imagine that some lighter and more positive subjects related to this COVID-19 thing might pop up--like we have seen with having kids le...

That is a shame.
My guess is that it was pandemic related, since many companies are cutting costs right and left.

Sure hope she lands on her feet somewhere, because Lindsay is definitely quite a talent.

A lot of people used to follow Kit, me included on ESPN2's Cold Pizza also back in the 1990's.

Hope this silver anniversary catches on, even with all of the layoffs that NBCU had to do a few weeks back.
