It's been a while since I've been active on this board. I kinda moved on to other interests. But I was cleaning out my HD and found some caps that I never uploaded. So they are online now. I will probably be keeping my Flickr account going for a couple of years I think. I'll probably be lurking arou...

Do you have any example links?

If you're having the problem at every computer at your location, what about from another location? It could be DNS or proxy problems.

You do have a torrent program like uTorrent installed, right? If you haven't done torrents before, it's different from standard web browsing. It's a cooperative effort instead of one-to-one. Since you've been on WWoW for a while, you can appreciate this concept.

Off the top of my head, I know Cool Edit can edit MP3 files directly. Cool Edit is not Adobe Audition, which means there is no more trial version. You can try some of the older versions of Cool Edit at http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=coolpro.

Picked up this 1992 VHS tape for something like 10 cents and thought I'd rip it for ya. Rapidshare: http://rapidshare.com/files/46839218/FondaAbs.wmv.html Screens: http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/403/fondaabscd6.jpg I picked up two others, we'll see how decent they are.

Try Opera. It is the fastest and it's just as secure as Firefox. Also check out Naked joy of surfing.

Very clever, Roop. I was taking the route of disabling scripts for that domain, but it disabled the pager.

Of course if it was Opera or Firefox, the problem would be easier to fix.

That might beg the question, why do I post all of my pictures at 800x600 when the source is 320x240. The reason I do it is I capture at 320x240 in BMP format, then resize it to 800x600, then convert it to JPG. What does that get me? If someone wants to resize the image back down to 320x240, most of ...

There's a few variables here. What do you consider a ton of space? For reference, I have 576 caps at 800x600 that take up 36MB of my drive. Are your captures in JPG, BMP, or PNG format? Is there a reason to have your captures in 1024x768? Anything larger than the original video dimensions is unneede...

If you downloaded a SIT file, you downloaded a StuffIt file, the mac equal to ZIP files. If it's in a SIT, it's probably a mac program. I'd look elsewhere for the join utility. I use HJSplit myself. If you really think you have a Windows program there, download the StuffIt expander. it's free http:/...

I don't see any mention that they're compatible with my AOL mail. Last time I used incompatible stamps, I scratched my monitor trying to uninstall them.

Obviously, MS wants to sell what's new, so Vista is the most current offering. However, businesses don't always have the desire to have and support multiple operating systems on their workstations, so Dell will sell business systems with other supported opeating systems. MS's policy is to support on...

For example 800 x 600 caps look great when my monitor is set at 1024 x 768. But look like crap when my monitor is set at 800 x 600. LCD (flat-panel) monitors have a resolution that they are best suited to (typically their max resolution). Same goes for laptops. Whenever you don't run the monitor at...

I found this site while browsing. I know a lot of people don't like RS because you don't know what's available. This might help.
